As a kid, I read many books and watched many movies about space and time travel and loved them all. I thought, " I am going to do that someday!" Then as an early adult - life got in the way, and I had to make other choices. 

Then fast forward to a few years ago, after many other life experiences I decided to revisit this arena. So I made a new goal to get involved in cyber-security. 

I know a little bit about computers, how to break them, see the data breaches, have been on the receiving end of them, and often think, there has got to be a better defense out there. 

So I set out to become more and more proficient. I know this path is many years in the making - but we all have to start somewhere. I showcase my experiences in case it helps out someone else:
